A couple of days of heat and sunshine has moved on – back to rain in Turnagain Pass.
The search effort continues with a handful of volunteers coming out for the weekend and some additional support.
Val’s brothers have been floating the creeks.
There is an active investigation and State Troopers are following up every possible lead.
Family will remain at the campground until Valerie’s dad feels that nothing has been missed.
The Turnagain Pass area was busy that weekend. Granite Creek, Spokane Creek and Bertha Creek campground (about a mile down the road on the opposite side) had lots of campers. If you were there, please think hard.
